Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

What happens when a class adopts a query-based approach, uses a Design Thinking framework and focuses on physical prototypes? Learn how middle schoolers embarked on an ambitious project to 3-D map their campus. Together we'll explore the iterative learning process involved in mapping both trees and topography and see the role for technology in place-based outdoor instruction. Join us to see what Design Thinking and the Maker Movement actually look like in action.
