High School can be a time in a teen's life of becoming and individual with a sense of identity, convictions, and spirit. This is essential to stand out in today's society where students graduate from college often with too many competitors for landing a successful career. As teachers we are responsible for helping students discover their own beliefs and helping them to become citizens and learners that will flourish in today's word. Developing an opinion means taking a stand and one help we can give our students is the ability to effectively and powerfully communicate their opinions in a way that will make a positive impact on society. Giving them the chance to present though digital media story telling has covers a broad spectrum of learning. It gives students the opportunity to practice writing, learn about and use technology, present a mind changing idea, and communicate in a way that is effective in 21st century learning.
