Benefits of Social Media in Education

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Social media is everywhere; how can these tools possibly enhance your teaching and interaction with students? Learn how to include a variety of social media tools as part of your personal learning network (PLN) to remain current with best teaching pedagogy, and instructional technology. We will also explore the use of these tools with K-12 students to extend the classroom beyond the four walls and into the virtual realm, providing more opportunity for collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking.

Participants should bring their favorite device, their social media experience, and an open mind to approach education from a different lens.
