3D Printing: Teaching Students To Be Makers of Things

3D Printing using the Afinia 3D Printer will be the focus of this session. The topics covered will include types of 3D printers, types of 3D software, types of materials for 3D printing and how to use 3D printing in a classroom setting. Attendees will create a simple object using Tinkercad, and convert their creation into an .stl file for printing on a 3D printer, so bring your laptop!
