Participants in this session will learn a step-by-step process for creating and distributing their own e-books using free Open Source programs running on both Windows and OSx. The finished e-books are suitable for use on a variety of devices, including Kindle, Nook, and the gamut of devices in between.
The session looks closely at the production of the locally produced e-textbook “Late British Literature from Pepys to Prufrock,” and considers other projects currently in progress.
